Andover Family Learning

Andover Family Learning arose from the highly successful Andover Community Partnership Family Learning Project.

We offer families, grandparents, mums, dads, carers and children the opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive, unthreatening and friendly environment.

We offer training and advice to local partner organisations and agencies because we believe that those based in the community are best placed to work with the community.

We offer an impartial Information and Advice Service to adults, helping you into learning or work.

Andover Family Learning is user-led, and arranges a variety of training opportunities to meet the specifically requested needs of its users, in locations most appropriate to its learners.

Andover Family Learning is an active agent in new innitiatives. It is currently taking a lead role in the local consultation on:

  • Extended Schools
  • Children's Centres
  • key developments related to 'Every Child Matters'

Andover Family Learning is part of the Community Education programme of Harrow Way Community School and is supported by The Adult and Community Learning Unit at Hampshire County Council.
